Keynote speaker Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, warned Americans to stop Obama from signing a ‘global climate treaty’ at the climate change conference in Copenhagen in December that will ultimately surrender U.S. sovereignty to a World Government under the guise of helping the environment. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educating the public about the myth of global warming.

Article VI, 2nd paragraph:
“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”
A Treaty would have to be made (and ratified) “under the authority of the United States”, and NO president has the authority to simply sign away our sovereignty. NO Senate can do that either, and in any case it takes “2/3 of the Senators present” to ratify a treaty [Article II, Section 2], a political impossibility even under this Democrat-dominated Senate. And can anyone imagine the Supreme Court allowing a treaty to strip IT of its judicial powers? Hardly. Yet, the Constitution is a stumbling block for socialists bent on increasing federal power and their stranglehold on our lives.
